Ian has over 38 years of experience in the IT industry with major vendors and suppliers of IT solutions. Ian’s experience ranges across nearly every discipline of IT from a supplier perspective and where has focussed on data protection software for the last ten years. His experience of working in technical pre-sales with major customers across Europe has led to his current role of data architect working with customers to find optimised designs and solutions to meet their data management needs.

Ian Campbell - Senior Systems Engineer

Ian started at ICL as an Engineer in their Office Systems Division, working on early PC’s & Servers. Moved to Compaq to teach their ASE courses before moving into data storage as a Compaq Pre Sales Consultant for ComputaCenter. Ian then moved to NetApp as an SE in their Finance Team based in the City of London. Got seduced by his first startup and joined Pillar Data Systems, where he spent 3 years before moving back to a NetApp partner (B2Net). Left B2net for HP, where he spent 2 years in Storage Pre Sales (3PAR, StoreOnce, StoreVirtual) and 3 years as a Storage sales specialist, selling to UK public sector customers. Most recently joined from NexGen / Pivot 3 where Ian was a System Engineer supporting EMEA.

Ian has a broad experience in both SAN & NAS, as well as Flash, Virtualisation and server based technology.

Stewart Wilson - UKI Sales Director – Converged Platforms & Solutions Division (CPSD)

Stewart Wilson is the UK&I Sales Director for Dell EMC’s converged platforms division (formerly VCE) and responsible for all CPSD sales into Enterprise & Commercial markets in UK&I. Stewart joined Dell EMC in 2009 and held various sales management roles within the Enterprise business focussing primarily on the financial services sector. CPSD started and continue to lead the converged infrastructure market offering a comprehensive converged portfolio (Blocks, Racks, Rails, Nutanix XC, OnPrem AzureStack) to cater for all types of organisations and workloads whilst offering integration with public cloud providers.

Hanna Kazerani - Senior Information and Data Management Executive

Hanna specialises in the design, development and delivery of Digital Governance Strategy and Framework, Information Management Solutions and Services. Her focus has been on Capital Project Information Management (PIM) in oil & gas and nuclear industries in the last few years. One of her recent roles was as Head of Information Management at EDF Energy Nuclear New Build for Hinkley Point C in the UK. Hinkley Point C, is one of the first new nuclear builds in 30 years in the UK. She had overall accountability for the provision of an integrated Information Management strategy, including the future strategy of how data needs to be managed in line with regulatory requirements; establishing a culture and mechanism for data quality; and enabling effective configuration management.

Andy Sawyer - Managing Chief Technologist

Andy Sawyer – is an IT professional for more than thirty years with ten years served at HP(E), first as a solution architect then a Chief Technologist and now Managing Chief Technologist running the team aligned to the channel. He has deep roots in large scale service provider projects as well as a background in security. All said and done, still an infrastructure guy in a suit who thinks he’s good with people.

Alex D’Anna has over 15 years of experience in the Storage Industry leading Systems Engineering teams in Europe. Alex has been with Pure Storage leading Northern Europe and Global Systems Engineering and has been responsible for staring a number of key regions since joining Pure Storage in 2014. Prior to that, Alex was the founding member in Europe of of SAN Performance monitoring solution Virtual Instruments, leading that business through a phase of explosive growth. Alex has been living in London for over 7 years with his family.
